As a father of a upcoming senior graduate (Class of 2022), I am fully aware of the importance of this final year that I have with my daughter. I realize that my time is limited with her before she goes off to create her own way. Having photographed her her whole life, I can see clearly the transition from a little girl who wore smock dresses to the beautiful young lady she is today. I understand the importance these portraits carry, and that they are recording where she is in life, not just for her, but for me, and her children one day. Even with photography as my profession, I will always wish I had photographed her more.
I can imagine that parents who love their graduating children feel close to the same way. We can't believe time has flown so fast, and that they are no longer the young children we remember.
A reoccurring comment I get from years of photographing seniors are words of thanks from parents who are enjoying their graduate's portraits many years later.
It would be my honor to help your family enjoy this moment in time with your senior-a time that signifies the end of one era, and the beginning of a new one.
